This version introduces new features and major improvements including:
- Code Design Spectra
- GM Suite Selection in QuakeSelect
- QuakeLibrary Improvements
- QuakeSignal:Signal Processing Tools in QuakeSignal
- User Interface Enhancements and Chart Improvements
Code Design Spectra
Added support for many Code Design Spectra including ASCE 7, ASCE 41, NEHRP, IBC, CBC and AASHTO codes, with automatic import from USGS Design Maps and hazard parameter from USGS webservices using the Lat/Long coordinates of the site. Also added support for multi-period spectra in ASCE 7-22 and NEHRP 2020.
QuakeSelect: GM Suite Selection
Added a new tool for making selecting collections easier, and extended the record filtering capability by adding the following filtering options:
- Mechanism (Strike-Slip, Normal, Reverse, etc.)
- Regime (Active Tectonic, Subduction, etc.)
- Subduction Event Type (Interface and/or Intraslab).
- Sampling frequency (hz)
- Cumulative Absolute Velocity (CAV)
- Arias Intensity (Io)
QuakeLibrary
Switched to a faster & more secure database engine. Also, expanded the library by:
- Adding full NGA-West2 database with ~20,000 records.
- Adding full NGA Subduction database with more than 71,000 records.
- Adding AFAD Türkiye Mw7.7 Records & aftershocks with more than 1,200 records.
- Added support for DYNA File Format.
QuakeSignal: Signal Processing Tools
Improved the baseline correction tool, and implemented a New pulse identification tool to Identify pulse wavelets in records and report the pulse period, pulse velocity, pulse azimuth, etc.
Chart Improvements
FN/FP and pulse directions/orientations can now be visualized in the polar plot. In addition, time-histories For Fault normal (FN) and Fault Parallel (FP) as well as pulse (Fpulse) histories & spectra for a Triplet can be visualized directly without the need for rotation.
